Are you 16-20 years old and looking for an exciting opportunity to develop your event management skills? Do you want to add to your CV or university application?  Then look no further.

In the run up to Love Parks week (Friday 24 July to Sunday 2 August.) Love Parks is looking for two volunteers to support their friends and community groups.

They’re holding a series of workshops for people who are running events on Love Park week and as part of their pledge to the #iWill campaign, they’re seeking volunteers to help facilitate these workshops and ultimately join one of the friends groups to help them plan and deliver a successful events calendar for summer 2015.

Your role will include filming, editing and distributing videos of the workshops.

Details of the two workshops are as follows:

  • Manchester, Wythenshaw Hall (8 May 2015)
  • Birmingham, Fazerley Studios (19 June 2015)

In your application you need to demonstrate the following skills:

  • Media skills
  • Environment knowledge or desire to learn about the environment
  • Event planning
  • Citizenship
  • Social care
  • We are looking for future filmmakers to help spread the learning from these sessions.
