Tinie Tempah Headlines NCS Yes Live
So…we’re delighted to announce the NCS YES Live headliner. Drum roll please…. (insert sound of drum roll).... it’s Tinie Tempah! It was written in the stars…

NCS YES Live & the NCS Awards 2016 celebrates the NCS social action stars of today and the future! It’s time to honour the 58,000 inspiring NCS grads of 2015 who dedicated more than 1.8m hours towards social action, raising more than £1.3m for good causes across England and Northern Ireland. Bring on the music and the fun!

Choosing Tinie Tempah as our YES LIVE headliner was a no-brainer. Not only is he a multi-talented, award-winning musician, he’s also a massive advocate for young people and a big supporter of NCS. Last summer he surprised NCSers with a visit to an NCS programme in Folkestone, where he revealed the ins and outs of running an impactful gig. You can watch the video HERE.

So what makes Tinie the perfect YES Live headliner? After his debut single “Pass Out” reached #1 in 2010, the rapper became an unstoppable force, producing 7 UK #1s to date with mega hits including “Written in the Stars”, his Stateside breakthrough track, as well as “Frisky”, “Wonderman”, and more recently, “Not Letting Go”.

What else? Oh, Tinie’s got loads of awards under his belt, including Best Breakthrough Act and Best Single at the BRITs, Best Newcomer at the MOBOs and an Ivor Novello for Best Contemporary Song. All thing’s considered, he’s one of the most influential artists of his generation. He’s also performed at some massive events including the closing ceremony of the Olympics, Coachella and Glastonbury …all great – but not a patch on YES Live of course : )
