West Ham United captain Mark Noble has been announced as the new NCS ambassador for Essex

Footy fans — forget Riyad Mahrez, NCS has made the signing of the season. We’re delighted to reveal that West Ham United star Mark Noble will be a NCS regional ambassador in Essex. In announcement terms, this is a cheeky back-heel followed by a bicycle kick into the top corner!

Mark truly embodies the NCS spirit — a passionate pro who’s shown amazing dedication to reaching his goals. He joined the Irons as a 13 year-old schoolboy and almost uniquely in the modern era, has stayed with the same club his whole career, turning down lucrative offers to ply his trade elsewhere. Now that’s what you call loyalty!

A boyhood West Ham United fan, Mark rose through the ranks and is the current Hammers’ skipper. Under Mark’s captaincy, the team are performing well above expectations and are dark horses for a top 4 finish. His efforts haven’t gone unnoticed; just recently, a sell-out crowd at Upton Park honoured Mark’s lengthy service with a special testimonial match, with proceeds going to Richard House Children’s Hospice, Help for Heroes and the DT38 Foundation. Amazing action on the pitch, and social action off the pitch!

Fittingly, Mark’s ambassadorship was announced in the East End — the famous boxing venue, Peacock Gymnasium, to be precise. We’re delighted that Mark will be carrying the NCS torch — that’s a metaphor, folks — and even if you’re a Gooner or a Spurs fan, we hope you’re as excited as we are!
