Last year, the British Youth Council worked with NHS England to create a brand new NHS Youth Forum, helping shape health services and to hold NHS England to account – it was a success and this year they’re again looking for young people, aged 14-25 to be a part of it!
They are looking 25 young people who are passionate about youth representation and the improvement of services for all young people, particularly in health. You may be involved in giving advice and opinions on healthcare policies, providing ideas on how services can be improved and holding both Commissioners and the Executive Board to account for their decisions and their work. This is an exciting opportunity to have your voice heard!
You’ll meet 3 times a year in person at residential weekends as well as being involved with online discussions, reviewing and feeding back on materials outside of meetings throughout the year.
You’ll need to be available for the following three weekends (food, accommodation and travel will all be provided)
- Friday 19th – Sunday 21st June
- Friday 23rd – Saturday 24th October
- Friday 27th – Sunday 25th February
The applications close on the 7th June - For more information and to apply please visit this site.
