Line up for NCS Yes Live on the 29.03.2016

We interrupt your weekend of Easter chocolate galore to remind you that NCS YES Live is just days away! On 29 March 2016, the Camden Roundhouse will be filled with NCS grads (as well as future NCSers) who’ve delivered some amazing social action throughout the UK. To honour all the great work, we’re gonna make YES Live one epic show! Not sure what all the hype is about? We’ve highlighted all the buzzworthy stars and events to take place on the day. Read all about it on The Mix.

And of course, to make YES Live a massive hit, we just had to have a killer lineup! We’ll have NCS Ambassador Tinie Tempah headlining the show – who’s looking forward to hearing ‘Written in the Stars’ live? – as well as the super-talented Izzy Bizu, who was shortlisted for a Brits Critics’ Choice award, and number one UK garage duo Blonde. And it really wouldn’t be a party without a DJ droppin’ some beats! Melvin Odoom will be at YES Live spinning the biggest chart hits! Plus, we have a secret special guest who we’ll announce on the day. It’s so secret, we can’t reveal who it is just yet – sorry!

To keep the show rolling, we’re excited to have Will Best return as our NCS YES Live presenter alongside his 4Music colleague Maya Jama. The charming duo will keep the audience enthralled as they present every stellar performer and keep the show on the road!

On top of all these star-studded performers, we have a great list of YouTubers reporting live backstage; the likes of Ali-A, Emma Blackery, Emily Canham and Jake Boys will be sharing all the Green Room gossip, having fun with the audience and celebrating social action! Plus, Poppy Jamie is our NCS Snapchat Ambassador and will be reporting live from the event too!

For the first time ever, NCS YES Live will have its very own Social Action Star Awards, which will be presented by Santander. This will highlight some of the amazing projects our select grads delivered in the last year. You can check out the full list of our nominees and their projects here. Who’s gonna win the Social Action Star title? Not long until we find out!

Also, our friends at The Body Shop will be hosting a 'selfie esteem' photo booth and providing gift bags to young people on the day. Not bad, huh?

For those with a ticket, we’ll see you at the show! And for those who couldn’t make it this time around – don’t worry, 4Music has got you covered. Stay tuned on April 2nd at 12pm when they’ll broadcast the show!
