We have an exciting new Apprenticeship role to fill at BBC North.  The BBC Marketing & Audiences team is looking for a new Apprentice Team Assistant, based at Mediacity UK in Salford. 

The BBC Marketing & Audiences team produces the campaigns that you see and hear across the BBC’s media platforms and uses its expertise to understand and engage audiences. The department is responsible for communicating the BBC’s content and products in a coherent and compelling way.


 The Apprentice Team Assistant in BBC Marketing & Audiences will provide effective administrative support for the team in BBC North, and help to ensure the team operates in an organised and efficient way. You will be also be responsible for diary management of senior managers including arranging meetings and travel, preparing agendas and presentations and maintaining staff records. You will contribute to specific projects and away day workshops when required. You’ll work in a fast-moving, creative environment and will be the first point of contact for the team, collaborating with internal departments and fielding all internal and external enquiries.

 This is an ideal position for someone with great inter-personal skills to start and develop their career in marketing and administration in a busy broadcasting environment.  By the end of your Apprenticeship you'll have gained an Advanced Apprenticeship in Business Administration at Level 3.

This post is available for anyone aged 18 years and over. You must live within the Greater Manchester area to apply.  Anyone with - or without - GCSEs or A levels is eligible to apply. In fact you may not even have a GCSE qualification in English and Maths (A-C) but you’ll need to be able to work at this level. You are not eligible to apply if you have or are currently working towards Level 4 qualifications (e.g. Level 4 apprenticeship, foundation degree), or anything higher (eg. a full degree.)
